Setup began at 08:00 with a great turnout from the club. We had
plenty of members lending a hand with the setup of both the game
surface and the display table. The door didn't open to the public
until 10:00, so we had adequate time to not only get the table
and banner together, but to solve any problems that might (and did)
come up. In the first picture you can see up finishing up the fix
to our wobbly banner. We didn't have time to test the structure
with the banner on it, so we brought everything that we would need
to work on it on-site.

At left you see us jury rigging support wires for our
woefully wobbly banner. At right is our display table
with our kill teams and rules for each team. We had
multiple copies of the slip for each team so that kill
points could be recorded on the slip. A huge part of the
success of the table was having everything that the players
needed ready to go so that they could jump into the game
without delay.

Pacific Marauders hard at work.

At left we see the Beav scrutinizing the die rolls of a player,
ever vigilant for signs of suspicious die rolling activities.
Center and right is a gorgeous (and quite massive) table by
another local club - the Knights Templar. These guys operate
out of Vista and put an impressive amount of work into their
table. The pictures just don't do it justice.

Near right is another club table and far right is a Games Day table.

At left, Our own local Outrider at his post, ready to serve the slavering
hoards of fanatical GW players. Note the glint in his eye as he
beams with prideful enthusiasm at the thought of his faithful
service to the GW public.
At right is one of the famed Games Day tables. These things are
always outstanding and a total blast to play on.

A life-sized dreadnought! GW just keeps getting more and more
radical with their displays. It kept vigilant watch over the
mega battle table - a huge ice-world board pitting the Ultramarines
against a vast Tyranid hoard.
