Welcome to my little corner of space!

UNCLE! The time has come for me to face facts and give in to the inevitable. Big changes are coming to the Starbase. Changes that should have taken place long ago, but I've been too lazy, hesitant or downright stubborn to implement them.

I finally have to accept the fact that this site, as-is, really serves no purpose. Long ago I tried to provide information to those who were always asking questions about German boardgames, but then along came Boardgame Geek, and that user-driven database has done what no lone spacefarer could in a lifetime. And a good thing it is. BGG is a great resource and one that I use often, but it has filled the niche so well that my poor little effort has been rendered obsolete. Ah well, that's the way of the world.

So what now?

Well, I still want to maintain all of my old data, but I'm giving the stie a new spin. I'll be posting information on game nights in this central location, and probably throwing in some general 'blog' information to boot. This will allow people to keep current with the local happenings around the starbase without having to deal with the spam-heavy forums that I've recently been forced to close.

The change will be slow, but I'll try to keep information coming so that the Starbase doesn't moulder away entirely.

Schedule a Game

Following are games that I am dying to play. None of them are of the type that can easilly be played during a regular group game night. Rather, each of them is either an 'event' that would require more time be set aside than a simple 'off the cuff' play or a serious 2-player game.

If you are interested in playing any of these games, then please contact me to arrange a session. Soon I will have all of this automated, but until then just e-mail me with your availability and I'll do what I can to set up a session.
